Ministry of Economics and Ports (SWH) is lead partner, responsible for coordination&fulfilment of work. SWH coordinates the Maritime Cluster.

In Bremen there are more than 1700 maritime companies employing more than 37000 employees. This represents about 35% of the total GDP. Bremen together with Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein and Lower Saxony created the “Kompetenz Cluster” which is a cluster dealing with companies in the fields of: ports and shipping, logistic in the value added chain, fish processing, shipbuilding and supplier to industry.

SWH will share his experience and competences in design and implementation of innovation programmes overcoming the shipbuilding crisis. SWH will connect the project with the regional InnoVision strategy supporting innovating companies & networking through cluster management for SMEs.
