Regional Pomeranian Chamber of Commerce (RPCC) was established during the Founders’ Meeting on the 11th of June 2008 as an organization of the economic local government. The Chamber is uniting, on voluntary basis, entrepreneurs, whose business activity takes place in the Pomeranian region.

RPCC is actively supporting the development of local entrepreneurs in becoming competitive on the global market. It is possible because of the cooperation with local authorities, members of parliament and organizations that aim at building competitive and innovative economic environment in the region, and in the whole country. RPCC offers complex and professional services in fields of information, promotion, consultancy and economic cooperation (national and international).

Statute tasks:

• Representing and protecting members’ business, concerning their production, trade and service activities,
• Initiating economic cooperation and exchange of experiences with entrepreneur organizations in Poland and abroad,
• Creating and promoting rules of ethics in the economic activity; creating and improving norms of good practices in the economy,
• Presenting information and remarks concerning the state of economy to the representatives of public administration and political and social organizations.

Activities:

• Taking part in works on changing legal documents (preparing the proposition of the Act on territorial self-government),
• Organizing conferences, e.g. „Royal Group”, „Win with the crisis”, „Real Estate market in the Pomeranian region – opportunities and threats for development”, „Economic freedom – harmful or helping?”,
• Realization of the EU projects, at national level, e.g. „Win with the crisis”, “Trainings on modern management”, “Academy of Management in Chojnice”, “AMBERIF – Fair Dubai 2009 (Promotion of amber and Pomeranian region)”, “Pomeranian Smithy of Talents”.
